Veratech x INCLIVA
The adventure of standardizing a large health database into OMOP format has come to a successful conclusion at INCLIVA, thanks to the assistance of VeraTECH.
By providing clarity in the challenging conversion processes required, VeraTECH has enabled us at INCLIVA to successfully tackle the transition of a population database from the Valencian Community, which includes complete tracking over 5 years of nearly 4 million individuals (of legal age), to the European standard of the EHDEN project. VeraTECH has thus allowed our foundation's researchers to access data in another way, providing continuity to various projects that require access to retrospective data from the Clinical History of Patients in our Community, a fundamental reason for INCLIVA's existence.

Industrialization of the data standardization process
Development of methods that facilitate the transformation of existing data in organizations to a target standard. It covers both the structural part of the information, e.g. transforming existing data to a norm/standard such as openEHR, OMOP, or HL7 FHIR, and the terminological transformation (encoding).
Natural Language Processing
Detection in the clinical text of mentions of entities present in terminologies such as SNOMED CT or ICD10. The objective is to obtain structured information from natural language texts.
Semantic data repositories
Development of clinical document repositories with full support for the SNOMED CT logic model to allow the execution of complex queries guided by this terminology. We are working to allow queries of the type "clinical cases containing a mention of mitral valve disease other than insufficiency".
