This is the phase that will determine the problem to be analyzed in order to have a strategic and global vision of the project. It will also help us to define the necessary data to carry it out successfully. We will ask questions in order to structure the whole process and specify its objectives.

During this phase, work is done to generate consistency in the data and prevent possible errors and loss of information. Data standardization and structuring will also be carried out.

The infrastructure is tested to detect possible errors or imperfections. The data is cleaned and processed to improve its quality and a standardized dynamic or static database is created. This phase also serves to prepare and process the data for the next step.

Once the data have been transformed to the predetermined standard, the researchers begin testing to obtain conclusions and recommendations. If any discrepancies or missing data are detected, they return to the corresponding phase to make the necessary changes.

In this phase, the data are interpreted and shared with the medical team, users, and dashboard, in order to validate the initial conclusions.

With the information obtained, we proceed to act based on the results we wish to obtain from the project. Preventive maintenance is carried out and the possibility of supplementing with more data is assessed. The possibility of exploiting the data in order to obtain new tools and knowledge, facilitate decision-making, etc. is also evaluated.

In this last phase, the value generated by the project is analyzed, the results of the impact of data exploitation are measured, new actions are assessed and good practices are shared in other research areas.
